Sosegada la polémica y mientras continúan los trabajos de grabación (junto al productor Jerry Finn) de un próximo álbum que debería estar en la calle el próximo otoño, el 11 de febrero verá la luz “Greatest Hits”, enésimo recopilatorio de grandes éxitos de Morrissey que busca a lo largo de 15 temas ser el resumen de sus ya veinte años (debutaba en 1988 con “Viva Hate”) de carrera en solitario.
Como reclamo para inducir a la compra a los ya iniciados en la discografía del ex-cantante de The Smiths, dos de los temas del disco, “That´s How People Grow Up” y “All You Need Is Me”, son canciones nuevas.
Además de la edición estándar, Decca pondrá en circulación una edición especial que incluirá un segundo CD con ocho canciones grabadas en directo el pasado mes de junio en el Hollywood Bowl de Los Angeles.
