Cuando apenas han pasado cuatro meses desde de la publicación de “22 Dreams” (Island/Yep Roc, 08), el muy celebrado último trabajo de estudio de Paul Weller, se anuncia el ya próximo lanzamiento de “BBC Session”, box set recopilatorio en formato de libro de tapas duras que reunirá en cuatro discos compatos y en versión remasterizada 74 canciones -hasta 40 inéditas, algunas introducidas por el propio Weller o acompañadas de fragmentos de entrevistas- grabadas por Weller para distintos programas de la BBC desde 1990 hasta el presente.
El box set incluirá un libreto de 64 páginas con extensas anotaciones biográficas y entrevistas con el propio Paul Weller y con artistas de su entorno y admiradores como Noel Gallagher, Bobby Gillespie, Tim Burgess o Steve White.
“Weller at the BBC” verá la luz en U.K. vía Island el próximo 3 de noviembre.
